AustCham Shanghai Community Member of the Year 2020 Winners
At last Friday's Aussie Christmas Lunch in Shanghai, AustCham Shanghai was delighted to present its inaugural ‘Community Member of the Year 2020’ awards. Over 250 attendees were present on the day to acknowledge those that contributed the most to the Australia-Shanghai community this year.
A big congratulations is in order to Ariane Sainsbury from the Australian Consulate General Shanghai, who was awarded the first ever AustCham Shanghai Community Member of the Year Award! Ariane was nominated for her vital communication and assistance during the initial COVID-19 outbreak. Ariane went above and beyond her work duties to ensure that the community was well informed and that AustCham Shanghai members were able to access vital services that would have otherwise been unreachable during the initial lockdown.
Harold Chan from CSL Behring was also presented the highly commended runner-up award, for the outstanding work his team undertook in response to the pandemic. Across February and March, CSL Behring organised a series of online educational workshops sharing best medical practices on the treatment and containment of COVID-19. These workshops were directly attended by more than 75,000 healthcare professionals
AustCham Shanghai would also to thank Lanny Xu from Ironfish China, Justin Howden from Swisse, and Matt Mitchener from St. James's Place for their significant support this year too!
