Event Recap:Member Briefing with Austrade & Australian Consulate General
On Friday April 16, AustCham Shanghai hosted a briefing with the Australian Consulate General andAustrade for its members to provide direct feedback and seek information from senior Australian officials.
Thank you to Mr. Dominic Trindade, Australian Consul-General in Shanghai, and Mr. Daniel Boyer, General Manager Greater China at Austrade, for each providing a short update. The updates were followed by a Q&A session facilitated by AustCham Shanghai’s Executive Director and General Manager, Bede Payne.
Throughout the briefing and Q&A session that followed, members and attendees specifically discussed important topics relating to travel between Australia and China, vaccines, investment opportunities and market access.
This full member briefing was also preceded by a roundtable discussion between AustCham Shanghai’s Platinum Members, and the Consulate-General and Austrade. Thank you to our Platinum Members who attended.
