Invest Shanghai and AustCham Shanghai - Introductory Meeting
Yesterday, the AustCham team had a productive meeting with Invest Shanghai, a government platform for foreign investment in Shanghai.
Going forward, AustCham Shanghai will rejoin the Shanghai Investment Promotion Partnership (SIPP) which is one of the key forums in Shanghai to discuss international investment opportunities.
China’s recovery from the COVID-19 economic slump has been world leading. The last two quarters of 2020, saw China’s year-on-year GDP grow at 4.9% and 6.5% respectively (China NBS). We are positive that the recovery will present opportunities for AustCham Shanghai members.
