Nominations Open: Australia-China 50 Year Anniversary Community Awards
AustCham Shanghai is pleased to announce nominations are now open for the Australia-China 50 Year Anniversary Christmas Dinner with Community Awards, which is happening on Saturday, December 10th.
Please submit your nominations for the Community Awards by December 2nd, 2022 via the QR code in the above flyer. All nominees will be contacted via email and/or WeChat and the winner will be announced at the event. Winners will be decided through a voting system by the AustCham Shanghai Board.
Online Community Awards Gala 2021
This year we have 5 award categories aimed at showcasing and rewarding individuals within our community for their excellent services and contributions to social responsibility initiatives in China and to supporting Australia-China bilateral relations.
These awards are open to any person within the AustCham Shanghai membership.
COMMUNITY MEMBER OF THE YEAR
This is awarded to a person who has demonstrated innovation, teamwork, passion and integrity throughout their involvement, and who has produced an identifiably profound effect on the community through their work and/or leadership.
HIGHLEY COMMANDED PERSON
This award recognises volunteer participation unrelated to one's employment, the individual donates time, resources and effort to help, grow and make a difference in the community.
SUSTAINABILITY AWARD
The award is open to individuals or groups to shine a spotlight on a community-minded project with an environmental impact that they have completed or are working towards within the last year. This person or group has worked on a project with a large and positive environmental impact that benefits China.
YOUTH AWARD
This is awarded to a young person (under 35) who has made a difference to the community, through volunteering, caring, overcoming adversity, by raising awareness of a particular issue, or by organising an event to deepen relationships in the community.
WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP AWARD
This award is designed to celebrate, honor and profile successful women in the Australia-China community, leading teams, businesses, and agendas in a way that’s inclusive, collaborative, compassionate, and courageous women who serve as role models and mentors in their fields of expertise or at a grassroots level.
