Nominations Open: Australia - New Zealand Community Awards Gala


AustCham Shanghai
in partnership with NZBRIC is pleased to accept nominations for the Australia-New Zealand Community Awards Gala which is happening on Saturday, January 22nd at JW Marriott Hotel at Tomorrow Square.

This gala has 7 award categories aimed at showcasing and rewarding individuals within our community for their excellent service and contribution to social responsibility initiatives in China. These awards are open to any person within the Australia, New Zealand and China communities.

Please put in your nomination to recognise the service of these individuals before 5pm January 7th 2022. All nominees will be contacted via email and/or WeChat and the winner will be announced at the event. Winners wil be decided through a voting system for the AustCham Shanghai Board and the NZBRIC Board.


AWARD CATEGORIES

The award is open to idividuals or groups to shine a spotlight on a community-minded project with an environmental impact that they have completed or are working towards within the last year. This person or group has worked on a project with a large and positive environmental impact that benefits China.

Awarded to a person who has demonstrated innovation, teamwork, passion and integrity throughout their involvement, and who has produced an identifiably profound effect on the community through their work and/or leadership. There will be one award each for individuals from both the Australian and New Zealand communities


Awarded to a young person (under 30) who has made a difference to the community, through volunteering, caring, overcoming adversity, by raising awareness of a particular issue, or by organising an event to deepen relationships in the community.


Recognises volunteer participation unrelated to one's employment, the individual donates time, resources and effort to help, grow and make a difference in the community.

This award is designed to celebrate, honor and profile successful women in the Oceania China community, leading teams, businesses, and agendas in a way that’s inclusive, collaborative, compassionate, and courageous women who serve as role models and mentors in their fields of expertise or at a grassroots level. There will be one award each for individuals from both the Australian and New Zealand communities.
