A Successful Internship Program Supported by AustCham Members
Last week, AustCham Shanghai CEO, Bede Payne, and Senior Relationship Manager Mike Cheung were pleased to visit a number of AustCham Shanghai members hosting The University of Sydney Business School interns.
This internship program was designed to provide University of Sydney Business students with work experience within international businesses in Shanghai. With travel currently restricted, programs like these are more important than ever.
“I was very pleased to hear about the quality of work these interns were producing for member companies. I would think some of these students will be offered roles once their studies are complete. Our members are always on the lookout for high-quality talent and these students are certainly just that.” Says AustCham Shanghai CEO Bede Payne.
Thank you to all AustCham Shanghai members that participated in the program including CK Ho at Super Retail Group, Toby Graham at ShineWing Australia, Jasmine Zhu at Investment NSW, Stephanie Liu at The Azure Group, Unice Liu at Baldwin Boyle Group, Angel Wang at LehmanBrown, Selina Lu at Colliers, Annie Feng at United Media Solution, Andrew Cameron at The Silk Initiative and David Yu at Earnest Advisory. A big thank you is also in order for Rachael Hains-Wesson and Venessa Ahern from The University of Sydney Business School.
