Webinar Recap | COVID-19's Impact on Education and Response Strategies
AustCham Shanghai in partnership with Wellington College International Hangzhou hosted a webinar on Thursday 21 May to discuss the COVID-19's impact on the education industry in China and the response strategies. We would like to thank Kathryn Richardson, Principle of Wellington College International Hangzhou and Piers Matthews, Director of Admissions and Marketing at Wellington College Hangzhou.
During the webinar, Ms Richardson provided an overview of the integrated eLearning platforms used by teachers across the Wellington College China group, the balance of face-to-face learning with eLearning, and preparation for the return to campus.
Mr Matthwes spoke about the major impacts of COVID-19 on schools, the short term to long term challenges and evolution of the international school sector in China.
