Event Recap: Bushfire Appeal Aussie & Kiwi Drinks
On Friday the 17th
of January, AustCham Shanghai and Kiwi Drinks jointly held the first Aussie and Kiwi Drinks of the year in support of the
Australian Bushfire relief effort.
We were extremely grateful for our Kiwi neighbors to so generously lend us and Australia a much-needed hand. It was fantastic to see some new faces and deeply touching to see the outpouring of support from not only within our chamber, but externally. We will be sure to remember the fantastic gesture.
We were thrilled to see nearly 200 guests attend the event on Friday. We would also like to extend many thanks to all the sponsors, the wonderful staff at Henkes, Australian Consul General Mr Dominic Trinidade and the New Zealand Consul Mike Rodger for opening the event.
Finally, we are delighted to announce that the event collected 104,170 RMB in total from donations. All funds will go directly towards supporting the fantastic work being done by the Red Cross Disaster Relief. We would like to thank all those that entered in the raffle and congratulate those who won!
