A Very Merry Aussie Christmas Lunch in Shanghai
Last Friday, AustCham Shanghai hosted its first ever Aussie Christmas Lunch in Shanghai at the Westin Bund Center. We were delighted to have over 250 members and guests from the wider community in attendance to celebrate the end of the year.
We are delighted to announce that as a result, over RMB 45,700 was raised for AustCham Shanghai’s CSR partners. These proceeds will go directly to worthwhile causes in The Renewal Center, Shanghai Sunrise, Lifeline Shanghai and Chunhui Children’s Foundation. Thank you to all those who contributed and our CSR Partners for the incredible work they continue to do.
The inaugural AustCham Shanghai Community Member of the Year 2020 was also awarded to Ariane Sainsbury from the Australian Consulate General Shanghai, with Harold Chan from CSL Behring additionally awarded the highly commended runner-up award. Ariane and Harold were nominated for their above and beyond contributions during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in China.
