Event Recap: Member Town Hall

On Tuesday the 7th of September, the AustCham Shanghai Board held the Member Town Hall at Australia House by AustCham Shanghai, followed by a much appreciated networking drinks at Bites & Bottle-O after the session.

Thank you to all members who took their time to join us and contributed open and honest feedback. A big thank you to Heidi Dugan, Chair of AustCham Shanghai for chairing the meeting.

Members reflected on our wins of last year, highlighting the success of the joint programs run by AustCham Shanghai, the frequency of our social events which have become even more meaningful over this disruptive time, the improved collaboration between different groups in our community, and the quick Covid-19 response and sharing of information during the pandemic.

Members also reflected on the areas the Chamber can improve on and discussed the future of the Chamber. The feedback is incredibly valuable to us.

AustCham Shanghai is committed to creating more value to our members through assisting the increase and expansion of our members’ businesses in China, being a bridge for trade and investment, and also a sensible voice for Australian companies in China.
