MICHAEL SLOAN
Partner, Ashurst
Michael is a partner in Ashurst's restructuring team which has been recognised as Australia's leading restructuring and insolvency practice for decades. Michael is a member of the national and global boards of the Turnaround Management Association. He is the senior lecturer for Monash University's post-graduate insolvency law course and has been an international consultant to the Asian Development Bank on cross border workout and insolvency law reform.
CARL GUNTHER
Non-Executive Director, President Turnaround Management Association
Carl has over 25 years financial and operational restructuring experience and held the position as National Turnaround Lead for KPMG Australia until his retirement from the firm in December 2019. He is a specialist in assisting companies and boards develop turnaround plans that make meaningful change within the first 60 to 90 days and provides a roadmap for stability. He is President of the Turnaround Management Association Australia and holds the Certified Turnaround Professional designation. Carl retains several Non-Executive Director positions and continues to assist companies going through transition.
JANE STARKINS
General Manager, Scottish Pacific Finance
General Manager of Scottish Pacific, Australian oldest and largest independent working capital provider. She is a Chartered Accountant, having worked for 15 years in the Banking and Financial services market. Jane specialises in working capital funding for SME and large corporates through innovative balance sheet structures.
