About Membership
As a membership based organisation AustCham Shanghai prides itself on the value it offers its members, be they in China, Australia or operating across the region. The value we offer our membership, the Australian and Chinese business community, is the core of what we do.
AustCham Shanghai membership provides access to support, education, advocacy and business services, as well as countless events and networking opportunities.
The key point of difference for AustCham Shanghai is that business membership gives you access to a dedicated individual in our team at the Secretariat, a Relationship Manager, who will work with you to further your business interests.
AustCham Shanghai's Membership Team provides introductions, business referrals, and advice on a range of topics. Daily our team gives advice and fields questions across issues including market entry, business set up structure, suitable partner and provider identification, marketing and branding opportunities, to general advice that helps organisations understand the shifting business landscape that is mainland China.
Our Chamber has grown over the years to cover organisations across every industry so today the collaboration between sectors is a core strength of our offering. Our Relationship Managers are devoted to particular industry sectors meaning they are across the latest issues affecting your industry, be it food, beverage and agriculture, financial services, or property and construction.
A key part of AustCham Shanghai membership is the access and collaborative opportunities that come through our industry forums. The nine industry forums serve as knowledge hubs and information and idea exchanges, driving events and topical discussions for the Chamber.
AustCham Shanghai membership includes a host of other benefits from discount event entry, facilitated member-only networking opportunities, and access to branding and promotion opportunities through our events and communications platforms.
"Joining AustCham Shanghai has been one the best investments my company has made in China. While we have only been members for a short time, and are based outside of the Shanghai area (in Suzhou) the team is always ready and available to help us with any requests we send their way."
James Brady, Assistant Director at Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School
AustCham Shanghai corporate membership is growing year on year reflecting the increasing importance of China to Australian business.
