AustCham Shanghai is delighted to partner with SwissCham Shanghai and to invite you to attend a seminar in cooperation with Asian Risks Management Services (ARMS). Benoît Ganzmann (China Country Manager of Coface China)

Benoît has 18 years of experience in credit insurance. He began his career in 2002 as a financial inspector at Atradius and then took over as Director of the Special Risks Department (risks and collection) in France. In 2008, Benoît moved to Hong Kong and became Risk Manager for the Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macao and South Korea markets.

From 2012 until 2019, Benoît worked with Euler Hermes (EH), initially as Risk Director in China for 2 years, and then Regional APAC Risk Director. In his last role, he was CEO of Euler Hermes China and deputy CEO of the joint venture EH/CPIC since September 2017.

Benoît holds a bachelor's degree with majors in Finance and Mathematics.

Founding and managing partner of SJ Grand Financial and Tax Advisory, Stéphane Grand has almost 30 years of strategic, financial and tax advisory experience on foreign investment in the PRC. He is specialized in mitigating risk, restructuring and making foreign businesses profitable.

He was a founding partner of US barcode technology firm Scanbuy and a senior consultant with Coltrin and Associates in New York. After heading RSM International’s China tax and audit practice for two years, he founded S.J. Grand Financial and Tax Advisory in 2003. The firm is focused on providing its clients with transparency and control on their operations as well as helping them navigate crises via restructuring or improve profitability through optimization of financial and business processes.

Stéphane Grand is a graduate of HEC Paris (MBA), La Sorbonne (Ph.D. in Chinese contract law) and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and is an adjunct professor at the Graduate School of Business of the University of Illinois, at University of Leuven and at ESSEC Business School. Stéphane is a frequent speaker for the Florida Institute of CPAs where he specializes in the practical business applications of Artificial Intelligence and data science.

Marc spent 30 years in the insurance and reinsurance industry. He started his career in 1990 as business developer at Matmut, a French insurance company, in charge of developing a general insurance book of business of mainly SME-SMI accounts. Then he was property and liability underwriter in insurance and reinsurance companies in France.

He came to China in 2003, he was a freelance loss adjuster for about 7 years. Then in 2010, he became a insurance broker specialized in property and liability insurance. At the end of 2017, he founded Asian Risks Management Services, an insurance broker providing insurance services mainly to SME-SMI.

Marc holds a degree in Economy and Actuary.
