Award Categories

The Australia–China Business of the Year Award represents the highest honour of ACBECA. This award is not open for separate applications. Instead, it is awarded to the highest-scoring winner selected from the eligible ACBECA award categories. The recipient will receive both their respective category award and the prestigious Australia–China Business of the Year Award, recognising exceptional performance across capability, impact, and bilateral business contribution.

The CIIE Market Entry Scholarship is granted to an Australian exhibitor at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) that demonstrates strong potential for entering and developing in the China market.
Unlike other ACBECA awards, the Scholarship focuses on future growth potential rather than established commercial achievements. The recipient will receive tailored market entry support from AustCham Shanghai members, including access to expertise, guidance, and resources to support their China market development journey.
The Scholarship is independently assessed and separate from the Australia–China Business of the Year Award selection.
